Reviews
Order ahead of time over the phone without issue, putting in for the Monte Cristo, Onion Rings, and a Garden Salad with Russian.
When I arrived I was greeted by a waitress who was very excited for me to have my dinner, which actually got me excited to eat it. She exclaimed how hot everything was, how good the fries looked, and how yummy it smelled. That was a nice touch even if she was just playing it up.
When I got home and dug into it all I was very satisfied. The salad wasn't too much with its size, which seems to be an issue for a lot of restaurants where the salad is treated like a meal itself. The onion rings were a little on the softer side then I like, but, they were jam packed with flavor. And the Monte Cristo was delicious, the swiss cheese, ham and turkey combo hugged by the soft and sweet french toast bread. The fries were as the waitress said, very good, crispy but with a tender inside and a solid potato flavor. Even the pickle skewer was fresh, and helped the fries go down.
Overall for the rather cheap price of $28, I got a real banger of a meal!
Great place / definitely old school mom and pop diner. Highly recommend. Note..no alcohol. I was lucky enough to have picked up some vodka shots
to make my tomato juice medicinal. This is a real community diner. Lots of seniors and families.
No fuss atmosphere with the sweetest staff and truly delicious food. The only non-family place I will eat spaghetti and meatballs. Also, really decent coffee for a diner! As an added bonus, I am always shocked at how quickly your food arrives once you place your order!
Great mom and pop diner for bfast or lunch. Wait staff excellent and food piping hot, fresh and tasty.
Great luncheon and breakfast place. Had an excellent quality turkey club and my daughter loved her tuna melt. Fries were fresh, crispy and delicious too. Outstanding quick friendly service as well. Highly recommended.
Townie diner on the regular dinner rotation with my parents. Lots of solo older gentleman diners. You could eat here three times a week and never have to cook, which is to say the portions are huge. It's awesome. The servers and front of house people are all very pleasant.
Awesome diner!!!! Lovely people and always see someone you know here if you’re from town. Their pancakes are HUGE! So good!!! You have to get their pancakes they are awesome. Been here for years and food has always been great. They also have good eggs, French toast, and wraps.
Its called a cafe but it feels like a cozy neighborhood diner. Almost every other guest i saw was recognised by name and regarded with warmth and attention despite getting busy. The staff worked together like clockwork and never lost their …
The place has a great feel, excellent wait staff but the food we had was pretty bad. Based on other reviews it could be an isolated incident but we gave it 3 stars over 1 star because everyone was so nice and the place has an old time feel to it.
This is a nice place to have lunch only complaint I have is the Mac salad was a very small portion but good
